May home sales in Las Vegas were the highest since 2006. The Las Vegas median home price was $117,000 – the lowest sign 1995.

Las Vegas Home Sales Show Weakness in April
Though it was the best April since 2006, Las Vegas home sales fell 9.5% from March. The median home price was $90,000, down hard from $112,000 in April of 2010.

Investors Drive Las Vegas Home Sales in December
The median price paid for all new and resale houses and condos sold in the Las Vegas metro area in December fell to $124,000, down 2.4 percent from $127,050 in November and down 3.9 percent from $129,000 a year earlier. It was the third consecutive month in which the median fell year-over-year. Since the median hit a 2010 high of $139,000 last June, it has either declined or shown no change compared with a year earlier. Continue reading
